What is The Boys' Brigade?

There are over 50,000 children and young people involved in a weekly programme of activities through The Boys' Brigade in the UK. The BB works in partnership with local churches to provide outreach into the local community. 

The BB was founded in Scotland in 1883, by Sir William Alexander Smith and quickly developed into a world-wide organisation. The BB now has more than half a million members in over 50 countries.

There are four main age groups within the BB they are:

Anchor boys - (5-8 years)
Junior Section - (8-11 years)
Company Section - (11-15 years)
Senior Section - (15-18 years)
